SOUR CREAM SUPREME HOT DISH | |
1 tbsp. oil 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef 1 clove garlic, minced 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 1/2 c. elbow macaroni 1 c. sour cream 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 5 green onions, minced 8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese Brown meat with garlic in oil over medium heat. Drain off excess fat. Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Decrease heat and simmer 20 minutes. Cook macaroni, drain and set aside. Combine sour cream, cream cheese, and green onion in small bowl. Blend well. Grease 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Place macaroni on bottom, top with cream cheese mixture, then meat sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 40 minutes. |
