PECAN BRITTLE | |
2 c. pecans, chopped 2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla Spread the pecans on buttered cookie sheet. Cook the sugar in iron skillet until golden brown, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Mix the salt, soda, and vanilla and stir into melted sugar. Pour over pecans and cool. Break into pieces. |
