DELICIOUS YEAST ROLLS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 3/4 c. warm water 1 1/2 c. warm water 1/3 c. lard 1 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. sugar Put yeast and warm water in large bowl. Mix rest of ingredients in yeast mixture and add enough flour to make a good dough 4 or 4 1/2 cups. Knead well, 4 or 5 minutes. Let rise until double or triple in bulk. Punch down and make into rolls. Let rolls rise again. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 or 20 minutes or until golden brown. |
