FLAT BREAD 
1/4 c. lard, melted and cooled

To this mix: 1/2 c. white corn syrup 1 tsp. salt

Stir all this well.

Add: 1 c. buttermilk 2 c. stone ground whole wheat flour

Mix this in quickly:

Put in refrigerator while you prepare for rolling. Roll in cornmeal or flour. Roll thin. Bake on cookie sheet 350 degrees, 9-10 minutes.
