CHERRY FESTIVAL SALAD 
2 c. red tart pitted cherries with juice
1 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jello
1 c. boiling water
1 c. cherry juice
1 1/3 c. chopped celery
2/3 c. chopped nuts

Pour sugar over cherries and juice and allow to set 1-2 hours or overnight. Dissolve Jello in water. Add cherry juice and chill until thickened. Drain cherries and add to Jello with celery and nuts. Chill until set. Serve with salad dressing on top.
