CHICKEN ALA MARIA 
3/4 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 whole lg. chicken breasts, skinned & boneless
1/2 c. sliced green onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained
1 (4 oz.) pkg. boiled ham slices, diced

Combine bread crumbs and cheese; dip chicken breast halves in crumb mixture to coat lightly. Arrange in 13"x9"x2" baking dish. Set remaining crumbs aside.

In saucepan cook onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour, stir in milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Stir in spinach and ham. Spoon spinach mixture over chicken. Bake, uncovered in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Makes 12 servings.
