CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIES 
2 1/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. melted butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine in large bowl butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Add in dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread mixture into greased 15x10-inch baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Cool and cut into 2-inch squares.
