JAPANESE CHICKEN WINGS 
2 lbs. chicken wings
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. wine
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 1/2 tsp. freshly grated ginger root

Cut wings into 3 pieces, separating at joints. In 8x12 inch baking pan, mix remaining ingredients, add wings, turn to coat well. Let marinate an hour, turning at least once. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake wings in marinade, uncovered, about an hour. Serve warm or cold.
