3 quarts cold water
1/2 lb. seasoning meat
Salt to taste
2 lbs. cleaned turnip greens

Add seasoning meat to cold water and boil 45 minutes. Add greens and boil 1 hour. Drain liquid from greens. Chop and place on platter. Keep warm. 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 sm. finely chopped onion 2 tbsp. melted butter

Mix together cornmeal, flour, salt, onion and butter. Add enough hot turnip pot liquor to form dough. Shape into hush puppy size balls and drop into boiling liquor. Reduce heat and cook in tightly covered pot 20 to 25 minutes. Arrange corn dogs around the green, pour the remaining liquid over green and dogs.
