Cover bottom of 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish with coconut and nuts. Prepare German chocolate cake mix according to directions and pour over coconut and nuts. Cream together 1 pound powdered sugar, 1 stick butter and 8 ounces cream cheese. Spoon onto top of cake batter. Bake according to directions on cake mix package.
