1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
Dash ginger
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. crushed pineapple, not drained
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate pieces
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, not drained
1 c. coconut

Cream shortening, sugar and ginger. Beat eggs in, one at a time. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with 3/4 cup pineapple and juice. Stir in chocolate pieces.
