1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal

Mix together and spread on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle 1/2 cup nuts and 1 small package chocolate chips on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
