PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL SQUARES 
3/4 c. pre-creamed shortening
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp orange extract
3 c. quick oats
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. coconut flakes
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together shortening, sugars, eggs, water and orange extract until creaming. Add combined remaining ingredients; mix well. Spread dough into a greased 11 x 15 inch jelly roll pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and while warm spread peanut butter frosting over top.

PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. Peter Pan peanut butter
Milk

Sift powdered sugar. Add peanut butter and blend. Combine enough milk to make frosting spreadable.
