HOT DOG RELISH 
5 c. ground cucumbers or green tomatoes
3 c. ground onions
3 c. ground celery
2 green peppers
1/2 c. salt
1 1/2 c. water

Combine vegetables. Add salt and water; let stand several hours. Drain.

1 qt. vinegar
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. mustard (dry)
2 tbsp. celery seed

Heat vinegar, sugar, mustard and celery seed to boiling. Add vegetables; bring to boil. Cook slowly 10 minutes. Seal in hot jars. 5 pints.
