ORIENTAL CHI CHOW 
1 lb. sirloin steak, 1 inch thick
1 pt. sliced mushrooms
5 oz. can bamboo shoots, drained
5 oz. can water chestnuts, drained
1 med. onion cut into wedges
1/2 c. sliced green onion
1/2 c. condensed beef broth
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 lb. can sliced peaches, drained
"Ginger Rice"
Soy sauce
1 tbsp. sugar

Partially freeze sirloin steak - slice into thin strips. Brown meat in skillet using 2 tbsp. vegetable oil. Add mushrooms, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, onion, green onion and beef broth. Add sugar, cover and simmer 5 minutes.

Combine 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp. cold water and cornstarch, stir into meat. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add the drained peaches, cover and heat through. Serve with Ginger Rice (2 cups hot cooked rice with 1/2 tsp. ground ginger - mix well). Serves 4-5.
