CHOW CHOW RELISH 
4 or 5 green peppers
2 c. cabbage
1 bunch celery
4 or 5 onions

Dice above ingredients. Sprinkle with salt and soak overnight. Next day drain and squeeze. Press out water.

Heat: 1 c. sugar 2 or 3 tbsp. mustard seeds

Add chopped vegetables and bring to a boil. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric. Boil 2 to 3 minutes. Add a small can of diced pimento. Seal in jars.
