HAWAIIAN SAUSAGE STIR FRY
3 tbsp. bottled teriyaki sauce
4 tsp. cornstarch
1 1/4 c. pineapple juice
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen pea pods
1 (12 oz.) pkg. smoked sausage links, cut crosswise into thirds
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen Hawaiian style vegetables
Chow mein noodles

In small bowl, blend teriyaki sauce into cornstarch. Stir in pineapple juice and brown sugar; set aside. Place pea pods in 1 quart strainer. Run hot tap water over to thaw. Drain and set aside. In large skillet or wok, stir fry sausage about 5 minutes or until browned. Stir the teriyaki mixture; stir into skillet or wok along with the frozen Hawaiian style vegetables. Cook and stir until mixture bubbles, breaking vegetables apart as they begin to thaw. Cover and cook 2 minutes longer; stir in pea pods. Cover and cook 1 minute longer. Serve at once over chow mein noodles. Makes 4 servings.
