TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
4 c. Granny Smith apples, unpeeled 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 8 oz. Cool Whip 8 oz. crushed pineapple 1 egg, whipped with fork 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 1 c. dry roasted peanuts, unsalted, chopped Drain pineapple, save juice. Cook flour, sugar, pineapple juice, egg and vinegar until thick. Cool 5 to 10 minutes. Add Cool Whip, pineapple and apples. Refrigerate. Sprinkle with peanuts before serving. |
