TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
4 c. peeled chopped apples 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1 egg 2 tbsp. cider vinegar 1 c. chopped peanuts (dry roasted unsalted) 1 (8 1/2 oz.) crushed pineapple, drain & save juice 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip In medium saucepan bring sugar, flour, vinegar, pineapple juice and egg to a boil. Cook until thick and refrigerate for 1 hour. Add this mixture to apples, pineapple and half of the nuts. Mix in Cool Whip. Sprinkle rest of nuts on top and serve. |
