SUGARLESS COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. oatmeal
4 tsp. sweetener
1 egg
2 sm. bananas (mashed)
1 c. chopped dates or raisins
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Pour boiling water over dates; let cool, then drain. Mix together dry ingredients. Brown oats in oven on a cookie sheet. Cream shortening; add eggs and sweetener. Add oats and other dry ingredients, then dates and bananas. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.
