EGG NOG PIE 
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. gelatin soaked in 1 tbsp. cold water
1 c. whip cream
Nutmeg

Scald milk and add combined sugar, cornstarch and salt. Cook until thick. Add to beaten egg yolks and cook a few minutes longer. Add gelatin and butter and cool. Fold in cream (whipped) and vanilla and pour into baked pie shell. Sprinkle generously with nutmeg and chill.
