ONION CRISP CASSEROLE 
2 (#10) cans brown beans (or green if preferred)
1 med.-lg. tomatoes, sliced thick
2 tbsp. butter
4 oz. pkg. French fried onions
Salt
Pepper

Put beans into a greased casserole. Top with tomato slices dotted with butter. Sprinkle on onion rings and salt and pepper. Bake in a moderate (350 degree) oven until beans are bubbling hot and onion rings or are golden crisp, about 40 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
