1 peck green tomatoes 6 stalks celery 2 hds. cauliflower 18 med. onions 34 red & green sweet peppers 2 tbsp. full whole cloves 2 tbsp. cinnamon bark 2 tbsp. allspice 8 pts. sugar 2 qts. vinegar Salt to taste Chop, salt and drain tomatoes. Grind onions and peppers, chop celery. Cut cauliflower in small pieces, add the cloves, cinnamon, allspice, sugar, vinegar and salt to the tomatoes, celery, cauliflower, onions and sweet peppers. Cook until tender. Seal tight in small jars. |
