WILD RICE BREAD | |
4 c. water (warm) 2 c. cracked wheat 1 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. molasses 1 c. dry milk 2 c. oatmeal 2 c. All Bran cereal 1 c. cooked wild rice 2 tbsp. salt 4 tbsp. melted lard or bacon fat Dissolve 2 packages dry yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Mix all ingredients; add enough whole wheat flour to make a soft dough. Knead well. Let rise until double. Shape into 4 loaves. let rise until double. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. |
