60 MINUTE PARKER HOUSE ROLLS 
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. granulated sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
4 1/2 c. flour

Add yeast to water. Combine milk, sugar, salt and butter in saucepan. Heat until lukewarm. Add yeast then flour, mixing thoroughly. Cover and set in warm place for 15 minutes.

On floured board roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with 3 inch biscuit cutter, dot with butter in center of each. Fold over and pinch edges. Place on greased baking sheet, let rise 15 minutes. Bake 8 minutes, 425 degrees. Makes 2 dozen.
