SAUSAGE PINWHEELS | |
2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tsp. baking powder 5 tbsp. shortening 2/3 c. milk 1 lb. bulk sausage Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in shortening; add milk. Divide dough in two balls. Roll out each ball 1/4 inch thick on a floured board. Spread uncooked sausage on top of the flour mixture. Roll up as for a jelly roll. Wrap in wax paper and chill. Slice 1/2 inch thick and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, until brown. |
