SCALLOPED APPLES 
2 cans sliced apples, packed in water
2 sticks butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, shredded
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour

Drain apples. Cream butter and sugar; add flour and cheese; mix well. Pour drained apples into a 9"x13" baking dish. Spread cheese mixture over the top of apples. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until brown.

Delicious with almost any meat and vegetables; can be halved to freeze and serve later.
