QUICHE 
Pastry for 1 (9 inch) pie crust
1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus cooked
3 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. light cream or milk
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash of nutmeg
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss Cheese

Bake pie crust at 450 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Combine eggs, cream or milk, salt and nutmeg. Add cooked vegetables to egg mixture. Sprinkle cheese in prebaked crust. Pour egg mixture over cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. You may substitute any of the following instead of asparagus, use your imagination. Crabmeat, 8 ounce chopped cooked broccoli, shrimp, or 1/2 pound cooked crumbled bacon.
