BARBEQUE CHICKEN 
1 chicken, cut up
1/2 c. onion, diced
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. green peppers
1/4 c. celery, diced
1 c. water
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Pepper to taste
2 tbsp. flour

Cut chicken in pieces and flour. Brown in skillet. Place in casserole or Dutch oven. Pour over chicken the sauce below.

In skillet sauce onions in 2 tablespoons butter; add green peppers, celery, water, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Add flour to thicken sauce. Pour over chicken. Cover pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees (gravy is great on mashed potatoes). Yield: 4 servings.
