TASTY BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 c. macaroni
1 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef (round)
1 c. tomato sauce
1/4 c. grated American cheese
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 sm. can mushrooms, drained (optional)

Cook macaroni in salted water for 7 minutes then drain.

Melt butter in a heavy skillet and saute onion and pepper. Brown ground beef. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake in 1 1/2 quart covered casserole dish at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. A 1/2 cup water may be added with the tomato sauce for a moist casserole.
