APPLE CRUMB PIE 
4 lg. - sliced - pie shell
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar

3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter

Mix the 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together. Put 1/3 of this mixture in bottom of pie shell.

Fill the pie shell with thinly sliced apples - sprinkle remainder of the sugar and cinnamon over apples.

Mix the other 1/2 cup sugar, flour and butter together until crumbly.

Pile on top of apples.

Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.

If you want to freeze the pie, wrap in plastic wrap - then wrap securely in foil. Do not bake before freezing.
