GLASS CANDY 
1 c. Karo light corn syrup
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. water.

Put all ingredients in saucepan. Mix a little. Heat on medium heat. Use a candy thermometer and let mixture cook to hard-crack stage (300 degrees).

Take off heat and add flavoring (1 teaspoon of any desired flavoring and 2-3 drops of coloring).

Pour into buttered metal baking pans. Put pans in freezer for about 15 minutes. When done, drop pan on counter to crack the candy into pieces.

Makes a very nice Christmas candy!
