FRESH PEAS & POTATOES WITH HAM 
8 new potatoes (sm., whole)
1 bunch green onions (cut in 1" pieces)
2 c. cooked ham, cubed
2 c. new peas
1 1/2 c. thin white sauce
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Pare and cook potatoes in small amount of boiling salted water about 15 minutes, add onions and peas, continue cooking until vegetables are tender, 10-15 minutes. Drain using liquid in white sauce. Add white sauce, cheese and ham to vegetables and heat until cheese is melted and the ham is heated, about 10 minutes. Serves 8.

To make white sauce: 3/4 cup water and 1/2 tablespoon flour and cook until thick.
