1 (9 inch) pie shell
2 cans sweet potatoes
3 eggs, yolks and white separated
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. salt

Mash potatoes. Combine with egg yolks, milk, sugar, melted butter, vanilla, allspice and salt. Mix well. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Turn into pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
