CREAMY SWISS AND BROCCOLI SOUP 
1 c. chopped ham
1 c. water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
2 c. milk or non-dairy cream
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. grated Swiss cheese (8 oz.)
Salt and pepper

In deep pan boil ham and water 10 minutes. Add broccoli and cook until tender. In small bowl gradually add milk to flour. Stir until well blended. Gradually add milk mixture stirring constantly until mixture slightly thickens. Simmer 5 minutes. Add cheese and seasoning. Cook over low heat until cheese is melted. Good with cauliflower too. Serve with party rye.
