DOTTIE'S PILAF 
1 cube butter
2 c. rice
1 c. broken up spaghetti noodles
1 can chicken or beef broth
4 c. water
(Optional: 1 c. chopped meat)

Melt butter over medium heat. Add rice and noodles to brown, stirring frequently until light brown. Add broth and water, bring to a boil. Cover and turn to simmer for 20 minutes. Serves about 6.
