CARROT CAKE | |
2 eggs 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. vegetable oil 1/4 tsp. butter flavorings 1 c. cooked mashed carrots 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder Cream together eggs and sugar. Add oil, butter flavoring, and carrots. Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and blend with other ingredients. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes. Spread frosting on cooled cake. FROSTING: 1/4 c. butter 4 oz. cream cheese 2 c. powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. butter flavoring 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream butter with cream cheese; mix in powdered sugar and add flavorings. |
