MARINATED BEAN SALAD 
1 can lima beans
1 can cut wax beans
1 can red kidney beans
1 can chick peas drain and rinse
1 medium chopped onion
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. olive oil
2/3 c. wine vinegar
1 tsp. salt

Heat sugar and vinegar to blend; cool. Add oil and salt. Mix everything and marinate 24 hours. Stir a few times while in marinade. Before serving, drain (and save) off all dressing and pour beans in to a lettuce lined bowl.
