PINEAPPLE COCONUT CAKE 
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 unbeaten eggs

Mix all ingredients and pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan lined with 2 thicknesses of wax paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Leave in pan.

ICING:

1 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 sm. can evaporated Pet milk
1 c. moist coconut
1 c. nuts, chopped

Bring sugar to a boil on medium heat. Stir down and bring to a boil again. Turn heat to low and boil for five minutes longer. Add coconut and nuts and beat until cool. Spread on cake.
