HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
1 slightly beaten egg
1 c. milk
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. sugar
Dash of vanilla
1 (1 lb.) coffee can
1 (3 lb.) coffee can

Put the above ingredients in a 1 pound coffee can, put lid on tightly. Place the 1 pound can inside the 3 pound coffee can. Pack with crushed ice and 3/4 cup of pickling salt. Put lid on tightly. Roll the can on the floor for 10 minutes. Drain the water and stir the ice cream. Pack with ice and salt. Roll for 5 more minutes. Ice cream is ready to eat, plain or with your favorite topping.
