MACARONI HAM SALAD | |
1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked, blanched in cold water, drained and chilled 1/2 lb. pasteurized American cheese, cubed 1/2 lb. baked or boiled ham, cut into thin strips 2 inches long 1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained 1/2 c. chopped sweet pickle relish 1 c. thinly sliced celery, cut on the diagonal 1 tsp. minced onion 1/3 c. diced pimento 1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. curry powder; optional Salad greens, washed and drained Combine ingredients except salad greens; toss lightly to mix well. Chill. Serve on salad greens. Yields 6-8 servings. |
