GINGER CAKE 
2 c. cane syrup
1 c. cooking oil
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. water
Raisins

Dissolve syrup and soda together first; set aside. Then add flour slowly, water and cooking oil together. Add to syrup and soda. Bake at 350 degrees.
