FONDUE FANTASTIQUE | |
6 slices French bread, 1 1/2" cubes 4 eggs 3 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese 3 1/2 c. milk 3/4 c. canned mushrooms, drained 2 tbsp. chopped pimiento 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. salt 1 - 1 1/2 c. ham, cubed or bacon, fried & crumbled Trim crusts from bread and cut into cubes. Arrange in bottom of greased 9"x13" baking pan. Beat eggs well; add remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 1 hour or until done. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley. Serves 6. |
