LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD | |
1 head lettuce 1 c. diced celery 4 eggs, boiled and diced 1/2 green pepper, diced 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, uncooked 1 med. onion, diced 8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled 1 c. mayonnaise 1 c. sour cream 2 tbsp. sugar 4 oz. cheddar cheese, grated Tear lettuce in bite size pieces. Layer next 6 ingredients, place in glass 9 by 13 pan in order given. Add sugar to mayonnaise and sour cream and spread on top. Top salad with cheese. Cover with clear wrap. Chill 12 to 24 hours. |
