HONEY OF A CRANBERRY SAUCE | |
1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. white wine or champagne vinegar 1/4 c. honey 4 c. cranberries 2 tbsp. lemon juice Combine sugar, water, vinegar and lemon juice in medium non-aluminum saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir in cranberries; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in honey. Serve warm or chilled over pork or turkey or with beaten biscuits. Yield 2 3/4 cups. |
