BEEFY JALAPENO' CORNBREAD 
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 pkg. cornbread mix
1 can of cream style corn
1/2 c. bacon grease
1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can chopped green chilies
1 onion

Brown hamburger meat and set aside. Mix cornbread as directed on package and add corn and bacon grease and stir until blended. Pour half of cornbread mix into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Then sprinkle on hamburger meat and cut up onion and put on top of this; then sprinkle on green chilies and cheese. Then pour on the rest of cornbread mix and bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes to an hour. (You may need to cook at 425 degrees).
