BANANA BRUNCH BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 med. ripe banana
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

TOPPING:

2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. butter

Combine first 10 ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat for 2 minutes. Spread in a greased 9"x13" pan.

Combine topping ingredients until particles are fine. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
