AMBROSIA'S EASY TRUFFLES | |
1 lb. (16 oz.) Ambrosia Real Milk Chocolate Coating, chopped 8 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed 1/2 c. chopped nuts, jimmies or colored sugar Or 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) Ambrosia light or dark flavored coating, chopped 1. In heavy 2 quart saucepan, melt the Ambrosia Real Milk Chocolate Coating over low heat, stirring constantly, cool to room temperature. 2. Fold in dessert topping. (Mixture will thicken.) 3. Cover. Chill at least 1 hour. 4. Form into 1 inch balls. 5. Roll in chopped nuts, jimmies or colored sugar. Or for dipped truffles, melt Ambrosia Flavored Coating as directed for melting chocolate in Step #1. Dip each ball into coating. Allow to cool on wax paper. 6. To store, cover and refrigerate. MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Place chopped chocolate in a glass bowl. 2. Microwave on full power for 1 minute 30 seconds. Stir. Return to microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Continue to return to microwave at 30 seconds intervals until melted, stirring between each intervals. 3. Proceed with Step #2 above. For white truffles use 1 pound of Ambrosia's White Confectioners' Coating, chopped. |
