SHEPHERD'S PIE 
Cabbage
Mashed potatoes
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
Velveeta cheese

Boil and prepare mashed potatoes. In another pot, steam the cabbage. Brown the ground beef. Add any seasonings you like - onion, garlic, salt, pepper, etc. to the ground beef. In a casserole dish, alternate layers of cabbage, then mashed potatoes, ground beef, cabbage, ground beef, mashed potatoes. You can create your own layering system, but it is best to top with the mashed potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Take out of oven and add a layer of Velveeta cheese; bake an additional 10 minutes. A good winter dish!
