FRIED TOMATO GRAVY 
3 ripened tomatoes
1/4 to 1/3 c. flour
4 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. milk

Slice tomatoes and dip in flour. Fry in butter. When thickened, stir in brown sugar and gradually add milk. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Keep warm until ready to serve.
